By default, Review App generates a random password for each new user and emails that password to the user before they can log in. This ensures the user provides a valid email address plus it cuts down on spammers joining your site just to post garbage.
However, email isn’t perfect – some users may never receive their password email due to spam controls on their end while other users won’t remember their randomly generated password or bother to change it to something more memorable. For this reason you may want to allow users to choose their own password on sign up by un-checking the first box on the user settings page.
